Legends of Bluenose

It’s everything Bluenose and it’s all right here! Learn why Bluenose was crowned Queen of the North Atlantic, and how she became our nation’s sailing ambassador with her image forever etched on our Canadian dime. Toast the fishing and racing legend with a taste of Bluenose rum.

Your excursion includes a stroll along our famous working waterfront, a stop at Ironworks Distillery, and a day pass to the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic - home to an unsurpassed collection of Bluenose memorabilia.

Tour starts at 70 Bluenose Dr. where you'll soak up the sights and sounds of our colourful waterfront. Our knowledgeable guides will lead you to Ironworks Distillery, the original location of Thomas Walters and Son Blacksmith Shop. Finish at the Big Boat Shed in the famous Smith & Rhuland Shipyard. You’ll stand in the spot where Bluenose was born - where you can almost hear the cheers and feel the excitement.
