Lunenburg Distilled
Take in the colours and characters of Old Town Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as you explore the waterfront by foot and by boat to discover distiller insights, sample award-winning rum & spirits, and enjoy sips and stories aboard Canada's oldest saltbank schooner.
Your adventure begins on Lunenburg's famous waterfront at the Fishermen's Memorial Monument, Bluenose Drive. Climb aboard a traditional fishing vessel for a tour around our beautiful harbour, infused with tales of rum-running and a glimpse of Black Beauty! After docking, your guide will lead you along our working waterfront toward Ironworks Distillery – Nova Scotia’s first artisan distillery.
Enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes visit with distiller insights, while tasting an array of award-winning spirits, including the famous Rum Boat Rum. Sample local delicacies and flavours such as Solomon Gundy and Lunenburg pudding – German food traditions unique to our area.
Finish with a memorable, private cocktail hour aboard the historic schooner, Theresa E. Connor, where you’ll be charmed by tales of folklore and sea-faring stories (and learn why you should never whistle on a vessel).

This tour requires a minimum of 10 participants (ages 19+) and can accommodate up to 12 participants. There are mobility considerations; getting on and off boats. Offered rain or shine.
7 Day Cancellation policy. Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the experience date will be subject to the full cost. If we should have to cancel, experiences are 100% refundable.
